Why the patient’s physical state matters
The patient begins the request by identifying the state where the patient is physically located.
That information is used for matching and should not be replaced by the patient’s mailing address when the patient is physically elsewhere.
Why clinician licensure matters
A participating cardiologist should have an applicable active license for the patient’s state and satisfy the platform’s verification and eligibility requirements.
City location is not the matching boundary
A patient in a rural county or small city may potentially match with an eligible cardiologist located in a different part of the same state.
The physician’s city does not need to match the patient’s city.
Multi-state physicians
A cardiologist licensed in more than one supported state may be eligible to receive matching requests from multiple states, provided the applicable license and verification requirements are satisfied.
