Missouri includes major metropolitan centers as well as smaller cities and rural communities where patients may have limited or delayed access to specialty care.
Telecardiology may allow an appropriately licensed clinician to evaluate whether a virtual encounter is suitable, provide permitted services through the clinician's own workflow, and arrange in-person care or testing when necessary.
HrtX24 does not conduct the telemedicine encounter. It routes an initial anonymous matching request to an eligible participating clinician.

HrtX24 matches; the clinician delivers care
A patient located in Missouri submits a cardiology request without entering medical details.
An eligible participating cardiologist may accept the request based on availability.
The clinician then uses their own process to determine whether telemedicine is appropriate, complete clinical intake, schedule the encounter, document care, arrange testing, and provide follow-up.
How clinician matching works

Participating clinicians can indicate whether they are currently available to receive matching opportunities.
- 3. Review and accept requests selectively.
A matching request is not a medical intake. Decide whether to accept based on your availability and practice capacity.
- 4. Continue through your own practice.
Scheduling, payment, clinical intake, telemedicine, documentation, testing, treatment, and follow-up occur through your own workflow.
Statewide access in Missouri
A participating clinician may receive eligible matching requests from patients located anywhere in Missouri, subject to applicable licensure, verification, specialty, participation, and availability.
This may include requests from patients in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield, Columbia, Independence, Lee's Summit, and Jefferson City, as well as other communities throughout Missouri.
Matching is based on the patient's state
A clinician does not need to be physically located in the same city as the patient. Applicable state licensure, clinician eligibility, specialty, participation, and availability determine whether a request may be routed.
