Use active licensure and available capacity more flexibly
Locum tenens cardiologists may hold multiple active state licenses, work variable schedules, or have blocks of time between assignments. Some may also maintain an independent clinical entity or another compliant practice arrangement through which they can directly see patients.
HrtX24 is not a locum staffing agency and does not offer employment assignments. It provides a separate patient-matching channel for clinicians who are independently able to accept and manage patient care.
Clinicians should participate only when they have an appropriate practice structure, applicable licensure, professional coverage, clinical systems, and the independent ability to provide the offered service.
Why locum tenens cardiology clinicians may use HrtX24
✓ Turn matching availability on or off
✓ No employment relationship with HrtX24
✓ No conflict with mandatory platform scheduling
✓ Use existing independent clinical infrastructure
✓ Statewide matching based on applicable licensure
✓ Accept or decline each request
✓ No clinician subscription fee
✓ No HrtX24 commission
For independently available clinicians—not staffing placements
An eligible locum cardiologist licensed in Texas may maintain a verified HrtX24 profile and indicate when matching requests may be received.
HrtX24 does not credential the clinician for a hospital assignment, provide malpractice coverage, establish a clinical entity, or supply an EMR or telemedicine platform.
The clinician must independently ensure that any accepted patient interaction occurs through an appropriate and compliant clinical practice arrangement.
How clinician matching works
- 1. Create or claim a clinician profile.
Submit the limited information required for clinician identity, specialty, and state-license verification.
- 2. Control whether you are accepting requests.
Participating clinicians can indicate whether they are currently available to receive matching opportunities.
- 3. Review and accept requests selectively.
A matching request is not a medical intake. Decide whether to accept based on your availability and practice capacity.
- 4. Continue through your own practice.
Scheduling, payment, clinical intake, telemedicine, documentation, testing, treatment, and follow-up occur through your own workflow.
Statewide access in Texas
A participating clinician may receive eligible matching requests from patients located anywhere in Texas, subject to applicable licensure, verification, specialty, participation, and availability.
This may include requests from patients in Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth, El Paso, Plano, and McAllen, as well as other communities throughout Texas.
Matching is based on the patient's state
A clinician does not need to be physically located in the same city as the patient. Applicable state licensure, clinician eligibility, specialty, participation, and availability determine whether a request may be routed.
